Cloud & Jasper's Apartment

Cloud laid on the ground with her just letting the water hit their bodies, rinsing away all the evidence and liquid body heat. (cuz the word sweat is NOT appealing) He grabbed a bottle of body wash very sneaky like without her noticing it. He counted to three in his head and squirted her with it. Bubbles instantly errupting on her bare stomach. He grinned and ran a hand through the mound of bubbles.

"I dunno if that was just me or if that was just like...beyond perfect?" he said not really questioning although it came out that way kind of. He grinned. First night and he didn't really feel like he'd been a man-hoe. Usually he wouldn't do it on the first night. He'd feel bad..but for some reason this felt different..maybe it wasn't just screwing more..making love? Some say there's no difference but something about it made him think..maybe..just maybe. Cloud took a deep breath. Was she possibly..like..gonna be his girlfriend.?
He bit his lip in thought.

The cold of the bubbles startled her, but his hand on her stomach was calming, she hoped he couldn't hear her heart beat as good as she could! It was all over the place, jumping up and then down again especially with him naked right there- right next to her. And he looked beautiful in the morning light that came through the window way above them, he looked as handsome as always. Only now it was different to look at him- he'd been in her, they'd had sex. Only..it felt like more then just sex, she'd only done that with one guy but it felt so much different with Cloud. More tender and..loving- not that he loved her, they'd only just met, that thought made herself blush a bit. But it was true, it was different, she just couldn't put her finger on it.

"I dunno if that was just me or if that was just like...beyond perfect?" he said not really questioning although it came out that way kind of. He grinned. She flushed happily "It was, really." She nodded, catching herself beaming back at him and biting on her lips. "It was you I think," I shrugged "You're really..whoa at everything you do." She murmured. He was just so..perfect! She'd wish he could be all hers, not just because he was the sexiest thing she'd ever seen, but also because he was just..everything she could ever dream of. She sighed and let her eyes meet his. She wished she could be his too, but surely he didn't want that.

He let the water rinse through and they were both finally squeaky clean. freshly shampooed hair, clean soaped bodies, yummy. He knew they'd both have a crash any minute. He helped her up kissed her and lead her out of the shower. He wrapped her in a towel and dried himself off, also wrapping in a towel. Once they were both completely dry he got her a t-shirt and slid on boxers and climbed into bed so they wouldn't be miserable when they did wake up. He laid down and wiggled up under the covers patting the empty space in his bed motioning for her to join him. When she did he grinned boyishly. "Goodnight Stevie." he kissed her forehead and let her rest her head on his chest. It took a total of 10 minutes and he was out cold. Luckily he didn't snore.

His head drifted into a drowsy dream land and he sighed. he must've only been dreaming this whole thing. She was too perfect to be real her body was amazing, her face was amazing, and best of all..her personality was PERFECT. Maybe moving here was his best idea yet.

They were all showered up and he wrapped her in the towel and then himself, she watched the water drip down his stomach and bit her lip. He was amazing, handing her a shirt she dropped her towel and slid it over her head, it went to her thighs and she pulled it a little lower. Stevie sighed as he climbed into bed after putting on his boxers and patted the space next to him. She flushed and slid in next to him, it was a big bed but she wrapped her leg over his and put her head on her chest, getting comfy.

She fell asleep quickly, she'd hadn't slept so well in a long time, just showered and in a nice big comfy bed. She dreamed of Cloud that night and woke up thinking it all must have been a dream. The sun was shinning through the window and she sat up a little bit, looking down at him, her hair falling over her shoulder. It wasn't a dream! He was there, asleep with his bare chest and beautiful face calm in sleep. She beamed, ghosting her fingers through his hair to get some out of his face. She laid back down, cuddling against him again and kissing his cheek.

He mumbled something into his pillow when he felt tiny fingers moving his hair, he grumbled and buried his face into the pillow, he shifted and when he realized there was a body overlapping his his eyes fluttered open and he turned back the previous direction.
His gaze met her. He took a deep breath letting it out slowly.
"Good morning beautiful." He had that look of an ever lasting sleep. His bright silvery eyes were a foggy grey and had no shine yet. And his naturally pleasantly pink lips were dull and peachy. He smiled and the color began to show in his face.

He shimmied over and sat up crossing his arms twisting and stretching his back.
"oh, stay right here I'll be back in a second." he assured standing up and going to the door. He unlocked it and vanished coming back a couple seconds later with her fresh and clean clothing including bra and panties. "Here ya go." he smiled. When he came back in he was wearing a pair of loosely fit faded jeans with a studded black belt and a seafoam green threadless t-shirt with a robot on the front.

He grumbled and she smiled slightly, waiting for him to wake up fully and when he did he spoke "Good morning beautiful." he murmured and She bit her lip. "Morning, Cloud." She sighed, he looked just as handsome in the mornings. Only now it was more..adorable, his hair was all ruffled and messy and his eyes were tired and his lips were light. She leaned in and pecked his cheek.

After a bit he stood up and told her to hold on, she sat up and then made the bed, feeling warm and cozy in his shirt, though a bit awkward without her underwear. Then he walked in all dressed and handsome looking with her clothes which she took with a grateful smile and went into the bathroom to get changed. She was a bit embarrassed, her underwear had been on the top. She was all changed and her hair was in loose curls around her face from showering without blow drying her hair after- she arranged the curls nicely around her face and came back into the room. "You look very nice today." She murmured, he looked more then nice- but whatever, he ought to know that. She handed him his shirt and smiled "Thanks for lending me this.." Nodding, and smiling at him.

He nodded. "No problem Stevie." He folded it and laid it on top of his dresser. She complimented him and he smiled his lil grin. "Thank you." She came back out in the outfit he'd first seen her in, she looked ever more beautiful in the perfect sunlight shining through the window. He grinned and walked through the door letting her follow if she so chose. Jasper lay sprawled across the couch in the main room watching TV on the big screen. "Hey love birds!" He grinned, his grin just as cute as Cloud's. "There's nice hot breakfast on the counter. I felt bad for..like. Walkin in on you two so..EAT and we call it good?" he asked as though making a truce.

Cloud smirked. "Step one." he looked at Stevie blushing lightly from his brother's "love birds" comment. Almost as to ask with his eyes "is that what we are?"
Jasper took a long gulp from the glass off the end table. It had a yellowy orange liquid in it. "Pineapple orange juice in the fridge if you'd like some. Mom came by and gave to us said it's her best batch yet. She wanted to see you but...I made up a silly excuse. Didn't wanna BUST in on you two again." he grinned.

She followed him out the door, the smell of food hitting her and she was suddenly hungry, it was hard to remember simple- normal needs then she was around Cloud. His brother was sprawled across the couch watching some television show and Stevie flushed immediately at seeing him, remembering getting caught in the hot tub. His brother commented about the food and called them love birds. he looked at Stevie blushing lightly from his brother's "love birds" comment. Almost as to ask with his eyes "is that what we are?". She was blushing too, and she shrugged, slipping her hand into his and biting her lip- hoping he wouldn't tug his hand away or something.

She looked at Cloud and rolled her eyes "It's all good." She nodded to Jasper and soon they were in the kitchen soon after, food out on the counter. She smiled, her stomach growling quietly; to the point where she could barely hear it, she bit her lip seeing the food. "You hungry?" She asked, shyly, her hand still in his, heart pounding quickly and her stomach full of butterflies from being around him.

"Is Britinni coming?!" Jasper asked, basically whining. Cloud shrugged. "I dunno did you call her? I haven't talked to her in like..a week." he called back. He turned his attention to Stevie. "It's Jasper's lil..fun buddy and she happens to be our house keeper. She gets paid but Jasper swears he just tips her well cuz she does a good job..yet somehow I doubt it and think he's getting..other things if you know what I mean." Cloud said quietly to her. Jasper chuckled. "I HEARD THAT AND NUH UH!" It could've easily turned into a silly boyish arguement but Cloud dropped it and pulled out a stool for Stevie he pulled his up to the bar too and the two began to munch on their freshly cooked breakfast.

Then Cloud's eyes lit up. "The beach! It isn't storming. an-" he was cut off and Jasper screetched childishly. "The beach!?! Are we going?!" Cloud smacked his forehead. "WE as in me and Stevie were planning on it." he corrected. Jasper bit his bottom lip. "I promise not to bother. pleeeasssee bring me too." he begged. Cloud groaned and looked at Stevie "whad'ya think.."

She giggled at the mention of the house keeper and at their cute little 'argument' boys with be boys, but Cloud was mature and dropped it, making Stevie grin even more. He held out the stool and she climbed up, sitting on it happily. He was such a gentleman and gosh, didn't he just look..whoa in his clothes- and without. She was thankful she'd had the experience of seeing him in both situations.

He was asking her? Oh gosh, she'd kinda rather go with just Cloud- she'd been hoping to spend some time with him, but whatever. They could still hangout, surely Jasper wanted to go to the beach to go to the beach, he'd respect them and give them some space? If he even wanted space with her, maybe last night wasn't as important to him as it had been for Stevie. She shrugged "I don't mind." Jasper was a grown man- he could do as he liked, really. If he wanted to go, he could go!

She finished up her breakfast and went out to her truck, stopping to get the swimsuit she'd bought a few weeks earlier and tuck it in her jean pocket before coming back up to their room. "Swimsuit." She nodded, letting him know where she'd gone. "What time should we leave?"

3 weeks later


"Did
you SEE that kid? I swear he could've carried passengers!" Cloud
cracked up, piggy backing Stevie up the stairs of the apartment
complex. They were nearly to the top when Cloud started to speak again
and noticed the door was slightly off it's hinges, the knob was missing
both screws, and part of the door was chipped where it came together
with the door frame. Something wasn't right..and he didn't like it. She
was about to speak and he shushed her. He slowly and quietly sat her
down and pointed at the door. "I've got a bad feeling.." he whispered
to her.
"Stay here." he said, and pushed on the door without much force letting it open and show the inside.

He
stepped forward and noticed things out of place, Stevie's things were
scattered about, not his. They were things that she had left there, no
big deal..but it struck him as odd. Only her things, and a few of his
were about the place..His tv was in place, his stereo, his speakers.
Not a burglar..He stepped quietly around the corner and stopped when he
noticed a guy just an inch or two shorter than him standing in the
doorway to his bedroom, the guy looked angry and as if he'd had one or
two drinks before he came, or mayb he was just clumsy? The guy started
going through Cloud's things and stopped when he spotted one of Kami's
bras on the ground next to the bed. The man picked it up and held it at
eye level and muttered Stevie's name.

Three weeks of pure bliss, fun and happiness. They'd swam at the ocean a few more times, sure they hadn't had sex again but that didn't matter when she knew she could get it whenever she wanted. From him, from Cloud, the guy who was piggybacking her around. He was really the only one who she would ever allow to do that without worrying about dying! Stevie was frightened suddenly when he set her down, if Cloud had a bad feeling- of course there was something wrong. He was big and tough and sexy and brilliant, surely men like that didn't get false bad feelings!

Tears filled her eyes, honest to god she was going to cry. She thought she was having a nightmare. She took a step into the door and walked until she stood behind Cloud, her hand sneaking into his. Cloud didn't know why he'd told her to stay at the door, it's not like she really would. In a mater of moments she was behind him with her hand forcing itself into his. He took it and heard a sniffle come from her, her eyes starting to well up. He bit his lip when he heard her whisper the fellow's name.
Apparently he wasn't the only one who'd heard her. The man turned around and stared directly at Stevie, glanced up at Cloud then back to her. "This is what you chose to leave for? THIS?" The way he said it it sounded like he was raking scum off of his tongue, like this place or him was disgusting and wretched. Cloud took it offensively but said nothing.
The guy took a step toward the two and dropped the bra onto the bed.
"You get bored with me or something? Had to go find the next best thing? how'd you end up with this guy? Beg? Do you pay him? oh wait, you don't have any money! You're probably still living in that old beat up truck without two pennies to rub together." The guy spat. Cloud could feel her heart pick up its pace when he stepped forward, and the things he was saying were terrible. He shook his head taking a step back so she'd back up, then took the step forward so he was closer to the guy than her. "You must be Tommy.."

Cloud spoke, in the same disgusted tone that Tommy just had. "What's so bad about THIS?" he asked, implying "this" the same way he had. "THIS, is prety nice if I do say so myself." with that he glared. "And don't talk about her that way..What's money got to do with anything? And she isn't living out of her truck, she has a home, a boyfriend, and the beginning of a new life. She doesn't need YOU in it." He said defensively.

She stood there, speechless as they argued back and fourth, a few tears left her and she stepped forward from behind Cloud, meeting Tommy's eyes. She felt that anger well inside of her and then that feeling you get when you look at someone you used to think you loved. Where your heart breaks just a little bit. Maybe mine just reopened an old wound, because she could feel the hurt from all the names she was called because of him.

"How dare you." She whispered, shaking her head "You fucking..told everyone all that. And you're angry at me? Me?" Her lips were set in a disgusted malice her eyes glaring at him with everything she was worth. She reaised her right hand and struck him once, hard across the cheek. She felt the anger release as his face moved with her slap. Stevie had waited years to do that. He looked up at her, angry and she shook her head when he raised a hand to hit her.

"Keep your hands to yourself." She said, she was crying, her voice carried strong but tears covered her face. "Why are you even here? Didn't ruin my life enough before?" He was drunk- she could tell. It was quite obvious, it had been enough time for him to regain himself after being hit but he was still swaying a little.

He lunged forward, trying to put his lips on hers and she almost fell back but Cloud caught her. She squirmed to get away from Tommy who leaned forward to kiss her. Ew.

She raised her hand and smacked him hard across the face. Not only did he want to kiss her and high-five her for being just so frickin' awesome..he was proud of her. She had been wanting to do that for a long time, you could tell by the way, and how hard she hit him. The shape of her hand stained his face with a pink outline. He reached to hit her and Cloud was ready to catch his hand. Stevie told him not to touch her and he stopped, caught off guard for a moment,
When the guy lunged at Stevie, Cloud's adrenaline seemed to begin raging. He pulled Stevie from out of the way and pulled back a fist, decking Tommy directly in the face knocking him completely over and onto the ground with a thud. Tommy made a more than unpleasant groaning sound as he held his face.

"You had your chance, you had the opportunity to be with her, but instead of loving her, treating her with respect and everything she deserves you treated her like shit. Don't you EVER, tou-no, don't even THINK about touching MY girlfriend." He said glaring down at him. "You had your chance." he repeated strongly. Cloud wasn't much bigger than this guy, but size didn't matter in cases like this, cloud would GLADLY and EaSILY kick his ass for laying one finger on Stevie.
"And seriously dude, couldn't you have just waited on the porch or something? You busted up my door. I'm not ok with that."

She felt terrible, she really did, a little. Maybe she shouldn't be grinning a little bit, not much of a grin but one side of her mouth was upturned as Cloud spoke after hitting him. She was undoubtedly falling in love with him. And he'd defended her, and somehow him being angry at Tommy made her gut fill with this selfish happiness. There were still tears in her eyes, Tommy and his longish curly hair brought back memories that she'd thought she'd long since forgotten.

After a full minute of silence Tommy (who had obviously been thinking the whole time) replied to Cloud. "Aw little pussy, piss, prissy boy doesn't like his door off it's hinges. You probably don't even know how to use a screw and driver." Stevie's eyes widened. Wasn't it supposed to be like..really bad when a boy attacked another boy based off his..masculinity? Whatever- either way- it didn't matter she was angry and annoyed. Especially coming from Tommy who was Mr. Popular through high school, sure he was tough looking and tall and handsome, but he was a total douche. Which was how (remembering back) she'd known that Cloud was incapable of anything douche-esc.

She shook her head at Tommy before Cloud could reply, "Well he screwed me pretty damn well." She grinned, twisting his words and trying not to laugh "Better then you ever did." As if this all was about the sex- no. But no one made fun of Cloud without making fun of her too. Well..it felt like they were making fun of her. Whatever.

All things that equal mean plus Cloud are not okay.

"Aw little

Cloud chuckled, "Is that the best you could come up with? I gave you like..2 minutes!" he was genuinely amused. Cloud stepped back and crouched down beside his bed and pulled from underneath, a little black box. He unsnapped it and pulled out a screw driver. "Would you like to test that theory though? I'm sure I can find plenty of ways to use this on you. Prove you wrong." He looked as though he'd happily gouge this guys eyes out with it,

She
shook her head at Tommy before Cloud could reply, "Well he screwed me
pretty damn well." She grinned, twisting his words and trying not to
laugh "Better then you ever did." As if this all was about the sex- no.
But no one made fun of Cloud without making fun of her too. Well..it
felt like they were making fun of her. Whatever.

Cloud coughed, completely unaware that Stevie was going to speak up, and when she did he tried his hardest not to laugh. She had just OWNED his ass. Cloud put the screw driver away. "Don't worry, I'm more of a man then that, I wouldn't use anything but my fists to put you back into your place."
Tommy stood up and took a swing at him. Cloud caught his hand twisted and punched him again sitting him back on the floor. "I don't remember asking you to stand back up." he added.

Her eyes widened when he pulled out the screw driver and she grinned at him, listening to their arguments. Watching Tommy try and punch him and Cloud catch his fist effortlessly. Stevie let out a sigh. "Tommy, get out." She ordered, he should leave. It was true, he shouldn't be here, he shouldn't have found her. She was scared now, that he was able to find her, maybe he saw her truck in the lot and pulled over. But that was unlikely because he somehow knew the apartment too? It was all quite scary. Tommy shook his head. "Not unless I take you with me." He slurred.

She smiled then "Would you like a sleeping bag then? Because that's not gonna happen. I'm perfectly happy with Cloud." He was ten times the man Tommy ever could be. He was also the most loving and sweet and perfect guy she'd ever met. And now Tommy sat on the ground, staring at Stevie, her chest more like. She crossed her arms over it and shook her head at him. She was sick of him already, how on earth was it that she'd spent long periods of time in his presence before? It seemed..impossible that she could have ever enjoyed being around him!

Tommy stared up at Stevie, obviously at her chest not her face and Cloud just smiled. "She's hot isn't she?" he nodded. "But like I said...she deserved more respect then that." he stepped forward so her chest was out of view.
"She doesn't deserve respect! Pssh she deserves a couple dollars maybe. She's a slut, she's nothing more than a sleazy skank. You'll probably get aids or some shit like that from her." He spat angrily.
Cloud chuckled again. "You think you sound smart? Kid..you come in here trying to make her leave with you. Trying to "win" her back..and then you get all upset and start pouting because of me and ruin any chances of ANYTHING..not that you had a shot in the first place. Calling her names isn't going to help you out at all." Cloud reached down offering him a hand up. Tommy took it and stood. "Now..run along and go play with someone who actually wants you." he said, obviously talking down on him. Tommy started to leave as if complying with what he was told to do.
Cloud followed to make sure he left completely. Once out the front door, cloud turned to come back inside and felt a fist hit hard in the middle of his back, nearly sucking out his air, forcing him into the already messed up door, causing it to break off the hinges and fall to the ground. He spun and with all his strength put another hit into the middle of Tommy's chest blowing him backwards and down the steps. Cloud took a breath went down the stairs and picked Tommy up by th collar. POW! another punch to the face."That was for stevie." he threw another punch. "THAT was for me." and he shoved him back to th ground and gave a final hit leaving a scrape aross his cheek. "That was for my DOOR!" he stood up and walked back up the stairs leaving Tommy on the ground. "If we have anymore trouble from you I'm calling the cops."

That had been..the most dramatic experience of her life, she loved this guy- maybe not love just yet. But she loved him like a friend and she was falling in real love with him. She could feel it, like descending smoothly through the air and knowing there's a trampoline to bounces you back up once you fall.

He came back up the stares and Stevie leaned over the railing slightly to watch Tommy saunter away "Have a nice life!" She hollered and felt Clouds arms slip around her waist. She turned and leaned her head against his chest. "Thank you for that, Cloud." She whispered, touching where Tommy had hit him with light fingertips. "You're amazing," She smiled, closing her eyes and breathing him in, he always smelt so good and acted so sweet. It was..too amazing. Almost.

She leaned up on her tippy toes and caught his lips with hers, pulling away after a moment and sighing. The sun was setting behind her, casting purple and pink and yellow across the cement and plaster and cotton of their clothes.

He came back
up the stares and Stevie leaned over the railing slightly to watch
Tommy saunter away "Have a nice life!" She hollered and felt Clouds
arms slip around her waist. She turned and leaned her head against his
chest. "Thank you for that, Cloud." She whispered, touching where Tommy
had hit him with light fingertips. "You're amazing,".

"Didn't I tell you if I ever met him I'd pummel him?" He nodded. "Not even the biggest bitch in the world deserves a guy like that. No frickin way. Not even." He shook his head. "You're pretty damn important to me too, someone talk to you like that...I gladly make them wish they'd never done it."

She leaned up on
her tippy toes and caught his lips with hers, pulling away after a
moment and sighing. The sun was setting behind her, casting purple and
pink and yellow across the cement and plaster and cotton of their
clothes.

He kissed her back, slipping his hand around her waist. "You're amazing too babe." he smiled. With that he stepped over the broken in door and helped her through it and tossed her to the couch. "Just a second." he called his insurance company reported a "robbery" so the door would be fixed for free. With that he walked over to her on the couch and flopped down pulling her onto his lap.

She beamed, she was important to him. She knew it, deep down, but hearing it made it so much better. More real in a way, she grinned at him, happily. Pretty soon he tossed her onto the couch and she plopped down with a laugh, watching him call the insurance and then pull her into his lap. "You have to be the best chair..ever." Stevie grinned and turned in his lap so she could lean down and kiss him softly, lips running along his. Why? Because she could. Why? Because she wanted to. Why? Because he was hot.

She really hoped she never saw Tommy again, at least not without Cloud with her. She was afraid of what might happen if she did. Tommy could hurt her..or..touch her..or..something. She was afraid, just thinking about it not to mention if it really happened! But there was nothing to worry about now while she was so comfy cozy in his lap.

"Oh I'm sooo glad I can provide your ass with such comfort." He rolled his eyes. She kissed him and he kissed back happily. Her tongue skimming across his lips, he parted his lips to let her in. They deepened the kiss and he loved it. He didn't wanna say it..but he was starting to think he loved her. He leaned her backwards on the couch, laying her flat before leaning over her, kissing her lips, down to her jaw, her collar bone and back up, planting one on her lips to seal the deal.

"He wasn't always like that was he? if so...babe,besides me you have terrible taste in men." he said jokingly. He silently vowed to himself, if he ever saw that guy again...it would be the last. This city would be completely rid of Tommy.

Stevie ran her tongue along his bottom lip and deepened the kiss when he opened his mouth to her, enjoying the feelings he gave her when he kissed her. She smiled slightly, just because he made her so happy and bit down softly on his lip for a moment before she was being laid down on her back with him hovering above her. He kissed her and she sighed his name, breathing it softly.

"Of course not..he's just..grumpy and drunk and jealous." She whispered, running her fingers through his hair. "Let's just..not talk about him anymore." She finished, sighing. It just made her all upset and sad and angry and frustrated. Pretty much any emotion that had nothing to do with happy. Which was no fun. Especially not with him so close and he made her happy. So damn it boy no more Tomas talk. She grinned at her thoughts and kissed his cheek.

He nodded. "If I was him I'd be jealous too." That was his concluding sentence. With that he shut down all topic of Tomas, and kissed her, a deep, loving kiss that could've topped any movie scene. He looked at her. "hey Stevie..." he started, when she looked ta him questioningly, as if to say what he whispered to her. "You're beautiful." That bastard didn't know what he had when he had her.

A few moments Later a very...non-manly scream came from the front of the apartment. Jasper came running in with his fists up. "What happened! Where's the ROBBER?!" he yelled. "I'm ready for him!
